Ny ledning i Landa Printing
Asher Levy har utsetts till arbetande styrelseordförande i Landa Digital Printing.
Benny Landa, ordförande för Landa Group, tillkännagav idag utnämningen av Asher Levy som arbetande styrelseordförande för Landa Digital Printing, det största av koncernens arton företag.
Landa Digital Printing (LDP), som startade som en spin-off från Landa Labs för tio år sedan, sysselsätter nu cirka 600 anställda och befinner sig i en snabb tillväxtfas när man nu förstärker kapaciteten för att leverera sina nanografiska tryckpressar världen över.
– 2019 was a pivotal year for Landa Digital Printing, which saw its first press installations being enthusiastically received by customers, säger Benny Landa.
– The Company is now poised for unprecedented growth and is deserving of a dedicated Active Chairman. I am therefore very pleased to announce that I have invited Asher Levy to partner with me and my fellow Board members, as Active Chairman of Landa Digital Printing. Asher is an accomplished executive whose decades-long career helped Orbotech become world market leader in its field. As CEO of Orbotech, Asher grew the company to become a billion-dollar-plus enterprise. Asher brings exactly the right skillset, experience and leadership to help guide LDP and its management through a rapid growth curve. Asher Levy joined Orbotech in 1990, serving in various managerial positions until 2013, when he was named Chief Executive Officer, a position he held until March 2019. During his tenure as CEO, Orbotech's revenues trebled, to over $1 billion. In February of 2019, Orbotech was acquired by KLA for approximately $3.4 billion. Asher Levy holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering and management from Ben-Gurion University and a master's degree in business administration from Tel Aviv University.
