Patent for linerless labels
ETI Converting Equipment, a Canadian company based in Montreal, just received a patent to apply self-adhesive linerless labels without any compromise on the shape of the label. PATENT NUMBER 2,788,206.
A film liner is used as a carrier to allow the die-cutting of the label and then, reused many times with other linerless facestock rolls. According to ETI project managers, the liner can be reused more than 20 times.
This very efficient process gives ETI customers a considerable advantage because it allows the user to achieve significant savings on raw material. Since a year, Pragati Pack, a label converter in India, acts as a distributor of this system.
ETI is pursuing its philosophy which consists to innovate and develop new products based on green technologies and sustainability for PS label printers.
